Where do I begin.....Well first off the customer support tries to help you but they are basically just hoping you will go away and since I don't like dealing with ignorance, I did go away. I will voice my displeasure with this review.
I purchased this generator a few weeks ago for my RV for when commercial power isn't available. That day came last weekend, it came in the shape of 100 degrees. I need to add I had a Kipor 3000w genset but it was underpowered for my A/C unit so I decided to upgrade with this unit. Well turns out the 3000w unit worked better than this unit, at least it worked. Whenever I turn on my A/C, the powerland breakers tripped, so I called customer support and they sent me a new new breaker saying the others were faulty, well the new ones tripped too.
Then I called the sales rep (they tout the "all copper windings", well it seems that almost all of these generators have copper windings because I haven't found one that doesn't) and he stated, I needed to call customer support and I explained to him I already did, he said call them back. The guy I talked to basically said the generator isn't all that good, how is that for customer service? At least they were honest the second time around. Well I am not into playing games so again I get to voice my review here.
I guess I got what I paid for..... JUNK! One of the things that led me to buy this junk is that I have always had great experience with purchasing from Amazon. My advice is to always wait for customer reviews no matter how good the deal looks. Sorry Amazon, it looks like you have a real dog in this generator.
My suggestion is to buy a generator that has local customer support. I just bought a Honeywell (Amazon) which has multiple customer service locations within several miles from my home.
