(More customer reviews)Quite Diesel Unit, smooth operation. I use this as a back up for our home when the rural power fails. Runs my 220 pump and provides lights and power for small appliances. We have an all electric home. Of course it won't handle a 20kw furnace or Central A/C, but runs a whole house fans and small fans for the wood stove. Electric start and fuel economy make this unit great for the price.

One year after owning this generator it only had 10 hours service and we needed it to keep us going after a major storm took out our power. 10 hours into service, the rocker arm bolts broke and the engine shut down. The engine is made in China and the company has been contacted many many times for repair parts. I was willing to pay for the parts but they have not provided any opportunity to get them. I have been trying for 4 months and have not been contacted to order the needed parts. The quality of workmanship is terrible! The customer service is non-existant.

I even tried to contact the engine manufacturer in China, but they have little or no presence in the US. Guess I'm just out of ruck!

When Bubba Comes to Town! Power and grace in one unit! Wow! Wait until you read about Bubba! The All Power APG-3202 is one of those rare finds...a product so far beyond the competition in terms of special little features that we could spend an entire page just listing them, but we won't. However, because we're so excited about "Bubba" we want to let you know about some of his special features. First, Bubba comes with a 10 HP, air cooled, heavy duty diesel engine, designed and certified by one of America's leading testing labs to be one of the most durable ever tested. Second, the company wanted to make Bubba a "Quiet Giant" and so they added a special layer of sound absorbing insulation to reduce engine noise and cabin resonance to the point that, at 70 dB, the APG-3202 is one of, if not the quietest portable 6500 watt diesel generators on the market today. Next, the company understood that Bubba would be spending a lot of time outdoors and so they used stainless steel nuts, bolts, washers and even cotter pins, along with double coating the galvanized steel, to reduce the chance of rust ruining its wonderful finish. Next, the company added an avionics alternator to develop the stable electrical flow, rationalizing that consistent performance of an alternator in an airplane is a lot more crucial than one in a car. Finally, the company added a big security hook on the top of the unit so that you can run a chain through the loop to make sure that Bubba doesn't go and live at someone else's house. If that's not enough, Bubba also has a battery operated electric start system for ease and convenience, will operate about 11 hours on just five gallons of diesel fuel, has two 120V and 1 240V outlets, handles on both ends and stainless steel wheel rims. Produces 42 amps at 120 volts and 21 amps at 240 volts. Why do we call this unit Bubba? He weighs 377 pounds. What else would you call him?
