(More customer reviews)We purchased the steele after our old tecumseh powered coleman generator died during the recent streak of bad weather in MI.It was simple to put together the electric start works well and it runs smoothly and fairly quiet for being a high idle generator. It seems to put out the power it advertises but would not trust the analog needle on the control panel. The control panel seems a little on the lets say fragile side. It does use alot of gas but so did our old one. Steel fuel tank and some other strange construction choices makes it very heavy. If you are looking for something made in the good ole usa forget this one it says china from top to bottom. Seems everything does anyway. No offense. Overall this generator runs our 2500 sq. foot home easily and to this point has been reliable. Gas hot water heater , gas oven.
