(More customer reviews)So, I purchased this generator from Orchard Supply and was very easy to assemble. It started after just a few pulls, with fresh tank of gas and fresh filling of oil. Then, ran it for 6-7 hours straight with no problems.
The second time I tried to start it, I noticed the cord was frayed a little from the pull start. Then it seemed totally jam up and the cord broke on me. I took the recoil assembly apart and found the cord can get wedged and wrapped around the area it shouldn't be in. So, thats why the pull start cord snapped. Poor design on the pull start mechanism, but overall it does run !!
