This is probably my favorite kind of fuse tap.
The fuse holder has two slots -- one for the fuse of the line you're tapping in to, and one for the accessory wire. The blades go in to your fuse box, and you're set.
I'm not too crazy about the butt connector they include with this, but there's more than enough wire to clip it off and crimp a new connector or solder your accessory wire on.
The only thing you really have to look out for on the mini fuse taps is that they're kind of L-shaped. The fuses go in the the blade horizontally, and when the blade is in your fuse panel, the two fuses will cover the adjacent fuse on the left or right.
Since I'm using two of these now (one for my radar detector, and one for floor lights), being able to use more than one of these exactly where you want to can be a bit of a pain. But... not nearly as painful as tracing and splicing your car's wiring!
