(More customer reviews)My brother has been using a salt water unit for his pool for 10 years or more and loves it. I wanted salt for my above ground pool. Putting in my pool I did some research and decided the Goldline unit best fitted my needs. The main factor in my decision was the control panel: it included the timer, super chlorinate function and salt ppm monitor readout (I find the salt reading strips difficult to read) temp etc....
I am very happy with the unit, seems to work as intended. I have a very small pool (5000 gal) so I'm only running at about 10% of capacity. After initial start up (150lbs salt and 4lbs stabilizer) my chemistry is maintaining perfectly. I have not had to adjust ph or add any chemicals. We have had a very hot summer and the pool temp has been around 90 and I'm still having no chemistry issues. Water has been perfectly clear.
